We were out watching the New Year's Eve fireworks when my son ran straight up to a police officer and demanded a hug. The problem was, the officer he was hugging... was my ex-boyfriend. My instinct was to turn and run, but then I heard this little kid drop an absolute bomb: "Mommy! I found Daddy!"
